This is a campaign that I worked on with RS Components. The company supplies electrical and electronic components, tools, testing equipment and related items through the internet, catalogues and at trade counters. RS Components (Electrocomponents) is listed on the London Stock Exchange and in the last financial year ended 31 March 2016 had revenues of £1.29bn.
For this campaign I had to produce a landscape and portrait poster to show off the new and improved RS Components Mobile Website. The poster had to feature products looking ‘aggressive’ at the phone in the centre. There was also a long list of products that had to be shown, from different types of brands. The brief from sales and marketing also specified that they required a dark theme, not light and bright. I also had to adhere to company brand guidelines, that specified specific colours and typefaces.
The posters proved to increase traffic to the mobile website by +7% within the first week of introduction.
